This is a relatively good time to travel to Asia. The US dollar is weak all over the world right now, but is holding somewhat firm against many Asian currencies. The Hong Kong dollar, Thai baht, Indian Rupee, and South Korean Won are all flat or even falling against the US dollar. Countries like Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines have always been inexpensive for Americans. You can still find deals there. China, Taiwan and Singapore will be more of a challenge. Japan is ridiculously expensive, but it's always like that. You just have to expect to spend a lot if you are going there.
